It brings joy, deep satisfaction and the most worthy of pain.
And where does it conceal itself? In our midst. Searching for a few worthy to clothe themselvesbin it's majesty and burden.

Things
I want things. Pretty things. Things that make me feel special. I am on earth and nice things really help. I need to keep it in perspective because the unseen world is much more important. I guess that is what it comes down to: degrees of importance.
A nice new car is not wrong but is it subordinate to a greater heavenly desire to live according to purpose, calling and destiny. Not comfort; mission!
Mission always. Easy to get lost and confused. Tempted to make this my permanent home while it is simply a pilgrimage. This is a learning opportunity. Experience and growth for a greater time in eternity after this.
...Or have I already lived the life after this and just need to remember?
Time
Journey
Over the last 25 years or so I have been on a journey. I have lived and worked on three continents and an Island. I have worked outside in the freezing cold and I have surfed the waves of Hawaii. I have gotten my hands dirty in the vineyards of Winelands in the Western Cape and help build my family home.
On my journey I have made friends with Rastas and serve executives of powerful organisations.
It is far from over and I have learnt so much already. Who knows where it will lead next?
Deeper
How do we go deeper? Deeper conversations. Deeper relationships. Deeper learning.
Let's not stay shallow.
Serenity
God, grant me the courage to change the things that must, the serenity to accept the things that cannot be helped, and the wisdom to know the difference.
Perhaps it is about control.
... Courage to change the things under my control and accept the things I cannot control.
